Serial entrepreneur Col Chandler to speak at Enterprise Tuesday
To succeed in business, you have to be prepared to fight. That’s the message from Col Chandler, the keynote speaker at the Innovation Centre’s next Enterprise Tuesday event (Tuesday 29 September, 4-6pm).
The monthly forum, held in the Innovation Centre at the University of the Sunshine Coast, is open to University students, staff and members of the business community who are interested in hearing the business musings of a ‘serial entrepreneur’.
In his presentation ‘Awakening the inner street-fighter’ Mr Chandler, a Sunshine Coast native and now the CEO of Proton Consulting, will discuss his experience as an information and communication technology executive and entrepreneur, as well as his history developing, running and reviving companies around the world.
Mr Chandler said his presentation would explore the importance of attitude.
“Having the right attitude has been crucial to my success in taking companies to the next stage, particularly in challenging markets when most are failing,” he said. “Awakening your inner street-fighter is all about attitude and how to fight back after taking the knocks that the business world can throw.”
Innovation Centre CEO Colin Graham said the Enterprise Tuesday forum would be valuable to anyone considering a move into the business world.
“Anyone looking at starting their own business will need an inner street fighter to combat the countless obstacles they’ll encounter,” he said. “Col Chandler, an inspiring serial entrepreneur, is a testament to the power of trusting your intuition and taping into your passion to reach your goals.”
