Mr Fortune offers business tips
The co-founder of Vision 6 – Australia’s largest supplier of e-marketing software – will share his business experience at a free event at the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Innovation Centre tonight.
Evan Fortune will be guest speaker on the topic “From Zero to Hero – Growing a successful business” at the last Enterprise Tuesday event for 2009.
Media, the public, USC staff and students are welcome to attend from 4pm to 6pm at the Sippy Downs campus.
Mr Fortune, who has worked in sales, marketing and management for more than 20 years, took Vision 6 from start-up to success. Clients include the State Government, Fone Zone, Lonely Planet, RACQ, The Wiggles, BMW and Sirromet Wines.
Using his business as a case study, he will explain his motivation and lessons learnt while expanding the business and preparing exit strategies.
Drawing on the Innovation Centre’s practical “zero to hero” framework, Mr Fortune will discuss how to identify what stage your business has reached and what steps to take next.
Mr Fortune also advises on improving customer relationships and emerging trends in digital communications.
