There's still time to apply to study
Those interested in starting study at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Semester 1, 2010, can still apply.
The semester will begin on Monday 22 February, following Orientation activities in the week from 15-19 February.
While Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre’s (QTAC) major offer round closed in December, applications can still be made via QTAC before Thursday 21 January for consideration in late offer rounds for undergraduate degrees and the Graduate Diploma in Education.
For more information in relation to QTAC applications and changing preferences, visit the QTAC website or phone QTAC on 1300 467 822.
USC Admissions Manager Kath Hughes said applicants for high-demand programs like Nursing Science, Nutrition and Dietetics, Occupational Therapy and Paramedic Science, should seek advice from USC’s Student Administration before submitting late QTAC applications.
Ms Hughes said they could email Student Administration at information@usc.edu.au or phone (07) 5430 2890.
“We are happy for people to make appointments with our admissions officers if they would like to discuss their options,” she said.
Ms Hughes said applications for USC’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway program and most postgraduate programs – except the Master of Psychology (Clinical) and the Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) Honours – could be made directly to the University.
Application forms for these programs can be downloaded from the USC website.
