USC to feature at tertiary expo in Brisbane
With its diverse range of degrees and strong career prospects for graduates, the University of the Sunshine Coast will feature at an expo in Brisbane on 17-18 July.
School-leavers and mature-agers keen to study at USC in 2011 can investigate its degree programs and student support services at the Tertiary Studies Expo at the RNA Showgrounds, Bowen Hills on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 July.
For the first time, USC will have current students joining its career advisers, academics and student administration staff to provide different perspectives on studying at the University.
USC External Relations Manager Kylie Russell said program advisers from USC’s Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, Business, and Science, Health and Education would offer advice on undergraduate and postgraduate options.
“It’s a chance to learn first-hand about the whole USC experience and career paths from nursing and education to business, journalism and more,” she said.
Ms Russell said information would include how to gain entry to university and how to participate in USC’s popular Global Opportunities (GO) Program which enables students to spend a semester or two studying overseas.
The Tertiary Studies Expo will run from 10am to 4pm on both days.
