Doors open for Postgraduate Info Evening
8 November 2011
The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold its annual Postgraduate Information Evening tomorrow (Wednesday 9 November) from 5-6.30pm.
This free event, which provides visitors with information on more than 60 postgraduate study options at USC, is expected to attract a crowd of about 100 people.
One of the biggest drawcards will be the one-on-one access to USC’s academic and administrative staff, who will answer any questions about postgraduate course work and research options.
USC’s Acting External Relations Manager Julie Flanagan said the popular event was designed to put people on the path to achieving their goals.
“Whatever your reasons for pursuing postgraduate study, it’s important to choose the right program to get the end result you are after, whether that’s a career change or a promotion at work, or a personal interest,” she said.
“The postgraduate information evening provides a range of information on study programs, entry requirements, how to apply to study, the fees involved and the University’s support services for students.”
The Postgraduate Information Evening will be held at USC, Level 1, Building C. Visitors can turn up at any time between 5pm and 6.30pm.
Bookings are essential. Register online at <www.usc.edu.au/postgrad> or call External Relations on 5456 5000.
