QTAC applications and offers delayed
Prospective Australian students are advised that the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) was closed on Thursday this week due to the impact of flooding in Brisbane.
As a result, information on offers and responses to admissions inquiries have been delayed.
USC has been advised that QTAC staff will begin distributing information on offers via email as soon as power is restored to the QTAC office. The deadline for responses to offers has been extended until Sunday 23 January.
Prospective students are advised to monitor the QTAC website for updates.
As traffic to the QTAC website is heavy, below is the notice that was on display on the QTAC homepage at 3pm Friday 14 January:

We will continue to monitor the weather conditions over the next 48 hours and provide further advice on our availability as the situation unfolds.
Some tertiary institutions will also be closed and unable to respond to applicant queries.
