USC to hold postgraduate information event
The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold a Postgraduate Information Evening from 5-6.30pm on Wednesday 9 November.
This event will provide information about more than 60 postgraduate study programs offered by USC’s faculties of Business, Arts and Social Sciences, and Science, Health and Education.
These include the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and new or revised programs in Education, Counselling, Social Work, Regional and Urban Planning, Climate Change Adaptation, Sustainability and Futures Studies.
Recently introduced programs, including the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) and Master of Counselling, are already proving popular.
USC’s Acting External Relations Manager Julie Flanagan said visitors could arrive at any time between 5pm and 6.30pm for the information event to speak one-on-one with University staff about postgraduate course work or research.
“USC’S postgraduate programs are designed to help you achieve your goals whether you're looking for a career change, hoping to enhance your chances of a work promotion or interested in researching an area of special interest,” she said.
“To gain entry into most postgraduate degrees, you must hold a Bachelor degree or equivalent. However, those who have extensive industry experience may still be eligible for entry and they should take the opportunity to discuss their options with USC staff at this information evening."
Ms Flanagan said the event provided visitors with a range of information including study programs, entry requirements, how to apply to study, the fees involved and the University’s support services for students.
Bookings are essential. Register online at <www.usc.edu.au/postgrad> or call External Relations on 5456 5000.
