USC to hold Return to Study Evening

Richard Padilla is almost half-way through an Engineering degree after returning to study in 2010

6 October 2011

The University of the Sunshine Coast will hold its annual Return to Study Evening on Wednesday 19 October from 6.30-8.30pm.

This free presentation will outline USC’s extensive range of undergraduate study programs, what is required to gain admission to university, how applicants can improve their tertiary eligibility, and the financial assistance and support services available to students.

Information also will be provided on USC’s Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP) program, which offers an alternative pathway to university for students who might not hold the relevant qualifications.

USC Acting External Relations Manager Julie Flanagan said the Return to Study Evening was a useful information event for many people, especially those considering a career change.

“This session is for anyone interested in returning to study, whether they finished high school recently or many years ago,” she said.

“Come along to find out how you can gain entry to university based on your work experience, previous study and life skills.

“You can also find out about university life from current students who will share their own return to study experiences.”

To book a seat for the Return to Study Evening, contact USC’s External Relations on 5456 5000 or register online at <www.usc.edu.au/info>.

Ms Flanagan said the University would outline its postgraduate study offerings at a special Postgraduate Information Evening on Wednesday 9 November.
