Alisa Officer
Home country: USA
Program: Study Abroad
Alisa felt that doing a Study Abroad Program in Australia would be a perfect way to step out of her comfort zone. Beautiful weather and laid-back lifestyle attracted her to the Sunshine Coast.
She appreciates the relaxed Australian attitude.
USC’s campus is a “clean open space, great for relaxing and doing homework outdoors," Alisa says.
USC International staff helped her by advising where to go and how to get involved in the campus community.
Alisa is staying in private student accommodation, a short walk from the camps.
“Varsity apartments allows you to meet tons of internationals, plus it is very clean," she says.
“USC offers uni and comfort, nice quite places to study but always vibrant. Every month they bring the Market to the school, which is amazing.”
