Year 12, Caloundra Christian College
Matt Seagrove heard about Headstart from a fellow student at school. On a friend’s recommendation, Matt chose to complete a core course, COR109 Communication and Thought, as his first subject.
“The course I am doing helps with academic writing,” Matt says, “so it will greatly assist with my studies in Year 12.”
Matt says he most enjoys being in classes with “actual uni students”.
“I chose to do the Headstart program as an introduction to the university lifestyle,” he says.
“The difference between Year 12 and university is quite significant, and it’s a great feeling of freedom.”
