Complete this form if you are seeking design and artwork to be produced, updated or amended.

Production lead times outlined below are indicative only. Factors such as scope of the job (number of items and size of each item eg number of pages), current workload, available staff and other priorities may affect our ability to meet a deadline. Clients will be advised at the earliest convenience if a change in deadline needs to be negotiated.

  • Artwork: Allow for a minimum of 7 working days.
  • Printing: We can provide you with recommendations of stock and weights for your printed product. However, it is the client’s responsibility to organise printing through Mail and Print Services (MaPS). MaPS are responsible for supplying printing services to USC students, staff and the wider community. Please contact them to obtain printing quotes and to ensure your job can be delivered in order to meet your deadline.

NOTE: Do not supply images embedded in a Word document — supply them as separate files via email to Ensure images supplied are hi-resolution images suitable for print publications (1MB files, at least 10 x 15cm @ 300dpi; larger image files to be supplied if required for full bleed A4 images, posters or banners). Adobe’s Photoshop support provides a good resource for more information about image size and resolution:

6.0 Final proof / approval of artwork prior to publication

A PDF proof of the artwork will be sent to you via email for checking. Mark up any changes / amendments in the PDF proof (as comments), and return the PDF via email to

NOTE: Please do not edit text or images in the PDF as these changes are often not obvious and can be overlooked.

Alternatively, mark-ups can be made on a hard copy and forwarded to us via internal mail (or in person): Marketing and External Engagement–ML20 | Level 1, Building R (Resources Building).
