Anzac Day message

As you are aware, commemorative services for Anzac Day this year will be very different to previous years due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated restrictions. Although we must stay home, we encourage you to pause during the day to remember the service and sacrifice of our service men and women who have served and continue to serve our Nation. The Australian War Memorial will televise the National Anzac Day Service from Canberra commencing 5am Saturday 25 April.

The spirit of Anzac – with its qualities of sacrifice, ingenuity, and endurance – remains relevant for our sense of national identity. The Anzac tradition, bequeathed to all Australians and New Zealanders by our Anzacs, continues to provide motivation and inspiration to us all.

Lest we forget.
