Dr John Janzekovic

Dr John Janzevokic has lectured in Australian Politics, International Relations and International Studies programs, and Justice and Legal Studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast. John is also an invited international lecturer at Linnaeus University, Sweden and at Millersville University, Pennsylvania, USA, conducting courses and seminars in International Law, Humanitarian Interventionist Politics, Human and State Security, Terrorism, and Australian and Asia Pacific Politics.

John’s research interests include international and humanitarian law, human rights law, interventionist politics, peace and conflict studies, terrorism and military ethics, and Justice and Legal Studies. His publications include text books, chapters and articles on international law, humanitarian law, terrorism, democracy promotion, governance, humanitarian intervention, the ethics and politics of intervention, and case studies of conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia Herzegovina and Kosovo. John is the guest editor for the theme of 'Humanitarian Intervention' in the Journal of Social Alternatives, and is on the Editorial Board and a contributor and reviewer for the Journal of Human Security (JHS).
