Plan your ride

Leave the car at home and explore the Sunshine Coast via pedal power. The region offers a vast network of bicycle tracks allowing cyclists the freedom and safety to explore the region on pathways and dedicated roadside bicycle lanes.

There are a number of cycle and pedestrian access points onto the campus. The Alumni Way bicycle and pedestrian path links the eastern and western accesses of the campus and a network of paths connects the University to Sippy Downs, Buderim and Mooloolaba.

To plan your ride to UniSC Sunshine Coast campus, use Sunshine Coast Council's online maps to view current and planned pathways, for use by both cyclists and pedestrians.

Please note that the map does not display on-road cycle lanes or markings.

Visit the Sunshine Coast Council website for information on cycling safety, pathways, and events around the Sunshine Coast, and refer to the Ride to UniSC Map (PDF 441KB) for details on the facilities located on campus.

The clinics will supply a mechanic/trainer to be in attendance for each workshop who will instruct you on how to clean, maintain and carry out basic bike repairs, and also give advice on bike controls, usage and bike fitting.

Are you looking for a cycling buddy? Take the opportunity to network with other cyclists and join them on their rides.
