USC Clinics

USC Clinics are open to the public and provide services that are overseen by appropriately qualified and experienced professionals while providing opportunities for students to gain practical experience at various stages of their studies.

Our clinics are committed to providing the highest quality service while providing an excellent learning environment for students. We welcome comments on our services through our Clinic Feedback form.

USC Psychology Telehealth Clinic

The USC Psychology Telehealth Clinic provides mental health services to the community and also functions as an advanced teaching, training and research facility for postgraduate students (Provisional Psychologists) in the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program at USC.

Occupational Therapy Health Clinic
Child and Youth Occupational Therapy

The Child and Youth Occupational Therapy Clinic is a student-led clinic where occupational therapy (OT) students, in their final two years of study, work directly with children, families and teachers under supervision to support children to engage in a broad range of activities at school, at home and in the community.

Health Management

The Health Management Clinic offers a 12 week program conducted by final year Dietetics students in conjunction with a senior dietitian and provides both supervised gym and nutrition counselling sessions.

Nutrition and Dietetics

The Nutrition and Dietetic Clinic is available to USC staff and students, as well as the general public. The service is delivered by students supervised by an accredited professional providing clients with individualised nutrition advice according to evidence-based medical nutrition therapy. There is a small fee for these services.

Counselling session
Counselling and Wellbeing Clinic

The Counselling and Wellbeing Clinic - in the heart of Nambour - provides psychological and emotional support services to the Sunshine Coast community.

It also functions as a clinical supervision facility for our counselling interns. Interns working at the clinic are in the final year of their undergraduate or post-graduate studies. The USC counselling programs are fully accredited by the Australian Counselling Association and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Education of Australia.

Free Telephone and/or Online Counselling Services is now available.

USC Clinical Trials Centre

USC Clinical Trials conducts medical research studies that aim to find a better way to manage a particular disease.

The purpose of a clinical trial is to evaluate new approaches to learn how people respond to them and what side effects might occur as a result.

Clinical trials are considered to be part of best practice medicine and are one of many options for treatment of a disease or illness.
