Futuristic lab to excite young Gympie minds

10 Jan 2017

A ‘Lab of Awesome’ filled with artificial intelligence robots, virtual reality games and augmented reality tools will give 60 Gympie youths an insight into careers of the future.

USC will use the latest in high-tech gadgets to present a day of interactive futuristic activities at its Gympie campus tomorrow (Wednesday 11 January) from 9.30am-3.30pm.

The free event for youths aged between 12-17 years is a collaboration between USC and the Gympie Regional Council and is part of the Council’s school holiday activities program.
