Who are the artists?


The artists are:

  • Ningura Naparrula
  • Nancy Ross Nungurrayi
  • Harper Morris Tjungurrayi
  • Pegleg Tjampitjinpa

Ningura, Nancy Ross, Harper Morris and Pegleg are Aboriginal people. Ningura and Nancy Ross are Aboriginal women. Harper Morris and Pegleg are Aboriginal men. Some parts of their names are difficult for some of us to say. Try to say their names. They come from an area in Australia known as the Western Desert.

Each artist has created many paintings. You will view one painting from each artist. The paintings you will think about hang on a wall at the University of Sunshine Coast.
