The first major Australian survey of work by artists from the Balgo Hills on the edge of the Great Sandy and Tanami Deserts, this outstanding exhibition is presented from the Cowan Collection.

Included are the vibrant paintings of acclaimed senior artists such as Eubena Muntja, Lucy Uukengbarri and John Mosquito as well as lively works by a number of emerging artists from the region.

The exhibition includes works depicting aspects of the Dreaming and that represent a connection with ceremony, life and land.
