Dimensions: McCarron and Worth

Wisp by Fiona MacCarron, Chillagoe marble and naturalThursday 13 July - Saturday 5 August

This exhibition of two- and three-dimensional artwork celebrates that state of mind when creativity and inspiration come together with paintings by John Worth and sculpture by Fiona McCarron.

Within a work of art there are often many layers of meaning that are keys to other dimensions - some of which artists are not fully aware of when they are making it. Although the artist works consciously from a set of attitudes and influences that eventually become that artist's trademark or style, the subconscious always adds other, less definable dimensions to a fully realised work of art.
