The cultural icon of the car and the role it plays in our daily lives is the topic of this series of paintings by acclaimed Sunshine Coast artist Corrie Wright.
The exhibition features an installation of multiple canvases in which aspects of our environment and everyday life are reflected through the window of the car.
The oblique and reflected perspectives suggest that we view the world around us in multiple ways and that social reality is 'constructed' through our perceptions and beliefs.
