Dr Adrian McCallum is a Senior Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering at USC and:
- A Specialist in remote area science and engineering
- An accomplished leader and manager across a diverse range of endeavours
- Has extensive experience in the collection and analysis of scientific and engineering data
- Is a leader and manager of projects in remote regions of the world including the Arctic, Himalaya and Antarctica
As a Lecturer in Earth Sciences for the School of Science and Engineering, Peter contributes to the teaching effort of the University in the areas of Earth Sciences (Soils and Geology) and Statistics.
Peter's research areas include Ecosystem recovery following mining operations; community dynamics of nitrogen fixing soil bacteria; Paleo-environmental reconstruction and Quaternary sediments of the Sunshine Coast.
