Ukes Alive! - Ukulele for Beginners

Six weeks, Wednesday evenings 6pm to 8pm

Have you been thinking about learning to play the ukulele? This course is designed for absolute beginners, so now is the perfect time to come together with other like-minded aspiring ukers. The ukulele is one of the most portable stringed instruments that you can learn to play, and you will be strumming songs and joining local ukulele groups and festivals in no time. Become the musician you have always wanted to be, or add the ukulele to your repertoire in this series of fun and friendly classes.

Presenter

Melinda Wells is a seasoned singer, song-writer and music teacher, who holds a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Honours) majoring in Music. She is passionate about music, producing creative arts projects, and performing across regional Queensland including major venues, festivals, events. She has written an inclusive curriculum teaching voice, instruments and song-writing that is easy for anyone to learn.
