We’re pleased to announce that QUT and USC are working toward the transfer of QUT’s Caboolture study location to USC.
If the proposed transfer passes through all relevant approvals, it will take effect on 1 January 2018. USC will begin teaching from the new Caboolture location from the start of Semester 1, 2018.
At this time, USC plans to offer at least the same (or equivalent) programs at Caboolture as those that are currently available through QUT Caboolture. At this stage, these programs are:
- Bachelor of Business (some majors)
- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting)
- Bachelor of Creative Industries
- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
- Bachelor of Primary Education
- Bachelor of Nursing Science
USC will also investigate opportunities for additional programs over the coming months.
This new teaching facility is a natural extension of USC’s ongoing presence in the local community, and our plans to open a major new USC campus at Petrie in 2020.
Providing higher education opportunities to a diverse student population, with an emphasis on face-to-face teaching and work-integrated learning, will remain key to USC’s long-term commitment to Caboolture and the wider Moreton Bay region.
