Meet our first Medical Science students
16 Apr 2018
In 2018, as part of our commitment to unlocking the full potential of our region, USC has introduced a Bachelor of Medical Science. This competitive program provides a pathway to study medicine on the Sunshine Coast for up to 20 high-achieving school leavers from around the nation each year.
After completing the Bachelor of Medical Science at USC, these students will gain provisional direct entry into Griffith University’s recently announced Doctor of Medicine at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where they will train as doctors.
To celebrate our first cohort Medical Science students, we recently interviewed them, their families and school staff as part of our Orientation events. You can watch their first impressions of USC and this new program in the video below.
USC will continue to document the experiences of these students via video throughout their degree. We wish them well in their studies.
