It’s time for students to get creative and flex their mathematical skills. 

USCSTEM 2020 Maths Modelling Challenge is delivered online. USC mathematicians and researchers provide an online presentation on maths modelling, how it is used in the real world and tips for approaching modelling with maths. Students are then presented a real-world scenario to solve in small groups. The school’s top maths model is then submitted online to USC STEM judges. Winning maths model announced in National Science Week.

Year Level: Years 9 and 10

Registration: Now open. Limited spaces. Registrations are open to Queensland North Coast Region schools.
