High School attended: Tullawong State High School

Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)

Target graduation date: End of 2024

My journey: When I finished high school, I went to straight to uni. However, I originally wanted to do Bachelor of Medical Imaging. Things happened and I didn’t get the result I wanted, and didn’t get into that or the other things I really wanted. By the second offer round, I chose to go into the army instead, but failed my medical. I was really interested in psychology in the army. So I decided to pursue psychology, but I couldn’t find the right degree or uni... until I received an email from USC encouraging me to do my best. I looked back through my emails and found that USC regularly checked up on me, which led me to look into what they offered and found the degree I was looking for and enrolled.

Career aspirations: I plan to finish my degree and then continue onto my Masters and become a psychologist, but we’ll see.

Why did you become an Ambassador? The ambassadors came to my high school, and I always was so interested in their stories and how they got to talk to students about uni life. When I started at the new Petrie campus, I knew I wanted to do just that.

What do you like about USC? It's a very welcoming and student-centred university. Being part of the first cohort to study at USC Moreton Bay is also really exciting.
