My journey: I’m super lucky to have been involved with USC for a little while now. I’ve known for a few years that I really wanted to have a career as musician and but I was stuck on how to go about it. I was very unsure on whether or not I wanted to continue studying after finishing high school as I hadn’t found a course that really jumped out at me.

I heard on the grapevine that music was coming to USC and after reading about the course I knew it was perfect for me. Close to home – so I didn’t have to leave the coast, and the course was super interesting, broad and catered for what I wanted to achieve within the music industry – plus it is run by some of the best people in the industry. Such a win win situation!

I was lucky enough to be put on scholarship for 2018 with USC’s Director for Vocal Arts Suzanne Kompass who trained me for the lead role in my school’s production of Mary Poppins. I was also given the opportunity to become a USC Vlogger – where I have been sharing my transition from high school to uni life.

A few months later, on the day I graduated high school, I found out I had been accepted in university via Early Entry and here I am today!

Career aspirations: I am working really hard to have a career in music. Ideally, I would love to be a professional artist and write, release and perform full time. If that doesn’t work out I am also interested in joining the army as a musician. But who knows – wherever music takes me!

Why did you become an Ambassador? When I was in the process thinking about university and what I was going to do after high school, I found it really helpful when USC Ambassadors were at school events or career expos. They always answered any questions I had and I loved hearing everyone’s journeys. So, I wanted to be able to help others too!

What do you like about USC? The environment throughout the entire uni is nice. Everyone is so close and friendly, which makes it so easy and comfortable to attend. It is such a supportive working environment (the coffee is also excellent!)
