High School attended: Wavell State High School

Bachelor of Nursing Science

Target graduation date: End of 2022

My journey: Since a young age I have had a passion for helping people. I have always wanted to help people, so a nursing degree was the perfect degree for me. My university journey began straight after school after applying and successfully receiving an early offer through USC's Early Offer Guarantee program. The early offer guarantee was great as it allowed me to know I had a secure place at USC before final OP results were released. This relieved stress and helped me start my transition to USC.

Career aspirations: When I finish my degree, I will be a Registered Nurse. However I plan to further my studies by completing a Bachelor of Midwifery at USC. My dream career aspiration would be to become a Neo-Natal Intensive Care Nurse or Midwife.

Why did you become an Ambassador? Speaking to a Student Ambassador at one of USC's Open Days made me feel so much better and comfortable with the high school to university transition. After this interaction I wanted to become an ambassador to help other students like me who at first were feeling uneasy and scared about the transition.

What do you like about USC? USC has a great welcoming feeling throughout the campus. I like that USC has the ability to cater for everyone. There are also lots of different support services to accommodate and help you settle in from Drop in sessions to the Student Guild, and USC alumni mentoring just to name a few. There are a variety of clubs and social groups to cater for your interests. I enjoy going to USC because the staff and tutors are very welcoming and accommodating.
