About the study - Mixed Dyslipidaemia Study

Thank you for registering your interest in our mixed dyslipidaemia study. A member of the research team will be in touch within 2 business days to go through the study with you.

What is the study for?

This is a phase 2b clinical trial, assessing the safety and efficacy (how well the medication works) of an experimental new treatment for mixed dyslipidaemia (high blood lipids).

What's involved?

  • Up to 16 visits to our research centre over an up to 54 week period.
  • Provision of study medication in the form of an injection just under the skin (subcutaneous), three times over the trial period.
  • Blood tests at multiple visits.

This is a randomised, placebo controlled, double blind study. This means that there is a chance that you will receive placebo instead of the study medication. Neither you nor the study staff will know which you receive. You would be assigned in a 3:1 ratio to receive the study medication or placebo.

The research team will sit down with you and go through the study criteria, as well as your medical history, current and past medications and vaccinations. There will be some blood tests and medical examinations to help determine your eligibility for the study.

You will be required to present a valid form of ID at each visit.

All study procedures are at no cost to you, and you will be reimbursed for your time on study.

Where can I find more information?
