Work in the age of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

As part of USC Alumni Network Connect's end-of-year event, Artificial Intelligence (AI) expert, Dr Natalie Rens will present ‘Work in the age of Artificial Intelligence.’ The AI revolution is coming, but what does this mean? In this talk, Natalie will unpack the basics of AI and what makes it so powerful. She will discuss practical uses of AI in the workforce today, including key examples from industries in Queensland such as finance and health. She will also explore ideas on the future of work, in a world where AI has become mainstream.
The event will also include an exclusive tour of USC’s world-class 270 degree, panoramic immersive 3D virtual environment, The CAVE2™ Visualisation Studio.
Who should attend? USC postgraduate Business alumni. Attendees are welcome to bring a colleague, friend, family member or partner who might be interested in USC's postgraduate Business programs, but must register their details as well.

About Dr Natalie Rens
Natalie recently completed a PhD in Neuroscience and is now the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Specialist for the Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur. In her current role, she works on developing strategies to advance Queensland by improving the adoption of AI. She is also co-founder of Brisbane.AI, a meetup group that runs AI events and training programs. She is particularly passionate about democratising emerging technology to enable better solutions to be created for the world's problems.
