Australia’s newest university campus, USC Moreton Bay, may still be in construction mode, but this doesn’t mean you or your child can’t get a look now at what it will look like when classes commence in Semester 1, 2020.
USC has developed a virtual tour of its new USC Moreton Bay campus that can be accessed at a simple click of a web browser at www.usc.edu.au/usc-moreton-bay-tour. As part of its presence at local school and community activities, USC has also been providing specially designed virtual reality headsets for Moreton Bay residents to access the tour using their own smart phone.
The virtual walk-around of the 16,000-square metre Stage One foundation building gives you a glimpse of facilities such as a 480-seat capacity lecture theatre, student study and common areas, as well as spaces that include some of the $10 million worth of state-of-the-art technology that will be installed in this new campus, including simulation facilities, engineering facilities and a makerspace.
From next year, USC’s Moreton Bay campus will offer close to 50 undergraduate degree programs including business, education, computer science and mechatronics. An additional 16 programs will be introduced in 2021 and 2022.
