Secure your school’s place at Experience USC!
Experience USC is an exclusive day for Year 10 students to explore a number of career paths, speak to academics and see what uni life is like. Students can customise their day by selecting three career workshops to attend from over 30 available options.
Students will leave the day feeling inspired, informed and motivated about their future.
With more than 1,800 students from 30 schools attending last year, Experience USC is a highly sought after event that’s not to be missed!

Step 2: Action your ‘workshop guide’ – In your inbox 16 April
Step 3: Enrol your students for Experience USC workshops – 24 April
Step 4: Follow the excursion information to Experience USC
You will receive an email on April 24 notifying you that the workshop enrolment system is open. Places will be allocated on a first-in, first-served basis so be ready with the required information to complete your enrolment. Teachers can either register all of their students or have students register individually. USC will email a register of attending students and their workshops in the lead up to the event.
Transportation subsidies allocation

Distance from a school directly to the Experience USC event
- Up to 20km: $200
- 21 - 50km: $300
- 51 - 100km: $400
- Over 100km: $400
*Funding beyond one bus per school will be considered case by case on assessment of all applications
Subsidy claim process
Transport subsidies are only available to claim post event and where at least 80% of registered students were in attendance. Schools are required to pay their bus invoice in full prior to the event.
To claim transport subsides, each school must invoice the University of the Sunshine Coast for the allocated subsidy amount. These should be emailed, with a copy of the original paid bus invoice to firstname.lastname@example.org by 30 July 2018.
