High school attended: Aldridge State High School

Degree: Bachelor of Business (Marketing)/Diploma of Languages (Japanese)

Target graduation date: Early 2019

My journey: I started studying at the Fraser Coast campus in Semester 2 of 2015. Before USC, I was a music student at Southern Cross University. After studying for two years, I decided that I wanted a different career path, so I decided to move closer to home and attend a regional university. Not knowing what I wanted to study I enrolled in a Bachelor of Business at USC, and within a year I chose a marketing major and it has been a very rewarding career path.

Career aspirations: I would like to work as a digital marketing strategist within tourism, or events. It is my career aspiration to work with local businesses and communities to develop sustainable and ethical marketing practices.

Why did you become an Ambassador? I became a Student Ambassador because I really care about the student experience and as a marketer I really felt that becoming an ambassador for USC would improve my public speaking and communication skills. Also, I wanted the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with like-minded people.

What do you like about USC? I really like the social aspect of USC. It’s a fun and engaging campus where you don’t feel like just another number.
