Sessions will take place across Tuesday 21- Friday 24 May and run for one hour. Groups of up to 42 students are welcome to attend these sessions and more students can be accommodated by adding an extra 30 minutes to your visit.
They'll rotate through three stations:
- Viewing platform - see the campus come to life from 15m up with a guided talk from a USC staff member
- Virtual Reality walk through - take a virtual reality tour of the campus using USC’s specially designed headsets, which students can take home
- Short presentation of what USC Moreton Bay will offer – In its initial year, this campus will have close to 50 degree programs to choose from
Maximum subsidy available per bus. Distance from a school directly to the experience USC Moreton Bay event:
- Up to 20km: $200
- 21 - 50km: $300
- 51 - 100km: $400
- Over 100km: $400
Funding beyond one bus per school will be considered case by case on assessment of all applications.
Subsidy claim process
Transport subsidies are only available to claim post event and where at least 80% of registered students were in attendance. Schools are required to pay their bus invoice in full prior to the event.
To claim transport subsides, each school must invoice the University of the Sunshine Coast for the allocated subsidy amount. These should be emailed, with a copy of the original paid bus invoice to firstname.lastname@example.org by 30 July 2019.
