High school attended: James Nash State High School

Degree: Bachelor of Biomedical Science

Target graduation date: End of 2019

My journey: I’ve been interested in becoming a doctor ever since I was in primary school. Over the last few years, I have become aware that there are so many different and interesting professions within the medical field. I decided that studying Biomedical Science would be a great place to start.

I was offered a place to study a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at USC through the Early Offer Guarantee program when I finished Year 12. I am now in my second year at USC, finding it very interesting and discovering the endless possibilities within the medical field.

Career aspirations: I aim to pursue a career in the medical profession and progress to study further in a specialist field.

Why did you become an Ambassador? It is a great opportunity to show the many opportunities that USC has to offer, and being an ambassador provides the prospect to hopefully inspire others to come and study at one of our campuses.

What do you like about USC? The inter-personal experience you get while studying here. It’s inspiring to get to know so many great staff and students on campus, and I feel privileged to get to know my lecturers on a first-name basis. Attending USC allows me to live at home while I study, with the huge bonus of getting a quick surf in before heading to lectures each day!
