Don’t tolerate cholesterol lowering medications?
We are researching the use of an experimental medication designed to lower the risk of cardiovascular disease in people that don’t respond well to lipid lowering medications.
We are currently recruiting study participants who:
- Are 18 to 85 years old
- Are intolerant to at least one statin (cholesterol lowering drug), for example, due to increased side-effects
- Have a history of, or are at high risk for, cardiovascular disease
Participants will need to attend at least 9 clinic visits over a 2 year period, then one clinic visit every 6 months to a maximum of approximately 4.5 years.
To see if you are eligible, complete the questionnaire below or call the Clinical Trials Centre on 07 5456 3797.
