Greening the Healthcare Sector Forum

With the theme ‘Working towards a net-zero emission, climate-resilient, equitable and environmentally sustainable healthcare sector: ensuring good health for all," the Greening the Healthcare Sector Forum is for anyone interested in improving the environmental footprint of healthcare (including aged care) and fostering a healthy future for people and the planet.

It will showcase practical examples of environmentally sustainable healthcare in action and provide an opportunity for connection, knowledge sharing, learning, and upskilling.

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) will live stream the Forum for free in Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) Lecture Theatre 1.

This year, the Climate and Health Alliance and UnitingCare are partnering to deliver the Greening the Healthcare Sector Forum as a hybrid event (in person and online), with support from our host partner Metro North Health.

This means you can experience the entire event — from presentations, networking, poster displays, and exhibitor stalls — online from wherever you are, or in person at the state-of-the-art Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital Education Centre, on Turrbal and Jagera/Yuggara Country.
