National Sorry Day is a very significant day for Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and particularly for Stolen Generations survivors.
USC would like to respectfully commemorate National Sorry Day.
10:30am: Sorry Day Garden, Main Entrance Flag Poles
Elders, community, and students are invited to join to come together, share and connect over morning tea at the Sorry Day Garden.
11:30am: Amnesty International, National Sorry Day Campaign, Brasserie Lawn Area
We encourage all staff and students to join in commemorations and activities across USC, as an opportunity to come together, share & connect in our nation’s history.
Libraries across USC campuses will also be holding book displays as part of National Sorry Day and Reconciliation Week.
