The USC Student Senate, together with the Careers and Employability team, delivers the USC Student Leadership Symposium annually in Orientation Week of Semester 2.
The Symposium is designed to motivate and inspire and offers professional development and networking opportunities for all USC students.
In 2021 the symposium theme is "Sustainability and Leadership." Sustainability-focussed thinking enables students to navigate in a changing and disruptive employment and learning environment.
Have you considered what sustainability means to you, and how you can achieve a balance that would provide for the needs of both current and future generations? The symposium will explore sustainability from a social, cultural, environmental, and economic perspective.
- Develop your leadership skills and understanding of sustainability.
- Connect with like-minded students and create new networks.
- Hear from leaders in the field and gain practical ideas you can apply now.
- Earn Leadership Award points.
The event will feature a range of presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and student-led presentations.
The full program will be available closer to the event.
Where will it be held?
You can attend in person at the USC Sunshine Coast campus or selected sessions via Zoom.
It's free to attend the event, but you must register in Student Hub.
