Orientation to USC Moreton Bay

Breadcrumbs

Orientation is designed for new students, to help you make the best possible start to your university experience.

It's the perfect opportunity to learn about the university, your campus and study requirements for the year and discover the wide range of support services available to help you succeed at USC.

What should I attend?
  • Your Essential Program Information session is the most valuable session you can attend. It's where you'll meet your teaching staff and find out more about your program. Select your program from the drop-down list below to find your session date. This is the date you should plan to attend Orientation.
  • Once you know which day you should attend, plan to arrive for the Official Welcome at 9.30am in the Auditorium.
  • Plan the rest of the day around your program session. There are plenty of skills sessions to attend as well as opportunities to check out the campus, connect with other students and familiarise yourself with support services available.

Studying a double degree? We recommend attending both program sessions which may take place over two days.

Come to skills sessions on Friday to learn about successfully submitting assignments and enhancing your employability.

If you're not sure which day to attend, or need help planning your program, contact studentevents@usc.edu.au.

TRANSPORT

We love public transport! Explore your transport options, plan your journey and allow plenty of time to get to campus each day. We encourage all students to make use of the convenient public transport options to get to campus.

USC Moreton Bay is adjacent to the Petrie train station, a major public bus interchange and the Petrie to Kippa-Ring shared cycle/walking path. The campus also includes the largest end-of-trip facilities of any USC campus, so more people can walk, run, or ride to campus.

There will also be FREE trial shuttle bus services running between USC Sunshine Coast and USC Moreton Bay on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 February for Orientation.
