Last call for submissions to the 2018 USC Film Festival!

Hello filmmakers! A reminder that it is not too late to create a 1-2 minute film for the 2018 USC Film Festival... With great prizes up for grabs, it is worth sharing your take on this year's theme: 'ACADEMIC INTEGRITY: The other AI - nothing artificial here'

Prize details
  • 1st Prize $500
  • 2nd Prize $300
  • 3rd Prize $200
  • + all 10 shortlisted entries receive $100
Submission requirements
  • The submission date has been extended to Friday 20 April at 4pm
  • Submissions are open to ALL students from any USC campus. Join the conversation around AI!
  • Submit via the Blackboard Film Festival organisation with a submission cover sheet
  • The video must be between 1-2 minutes, (16:9 High Definition, MP4)
  • All footage must be original – no mash-ups or clips from other sources
  • All films to be submitted by one student, (student team members can be listed on the submission cover sheet)
Judging criteria

The film:

  • is creative and engaging, and captures the audience’s attention
  • clearly identifies an important issue/element/problem/scenario in AI
  • presents a clear argument regarding AI
  • is well-constructed and visually appealing
