Student Film Festival 2018

16 March 2018

Welcome to the first USC Student Film Festival! This is an exciting opportunity for your work to be lighting up the big screen at our fabulous gala event. Cash prizes up for grabs!

This year’s theme is... Academic integrity

"The Other AI – Nothing Artificial Here…"

Academic integrity is an important but often misunderstood concept – this is your chance to share wisdom and creativity with your peers and help build a culture of integrity.

Academic integrity is...

  • Everyone’s business
  • Using research ethically and honestly
  • Recognising the work of others
  • Being responsible for your own learning and others' around you.

Plagiarism is...

  • Using research without recognition or misrepresentation
  • Dishonest and cheating
  • Outsourcing your learning to others
  • Harmful – opportunity to learn is lost, work is done unethically, the course and institution are damaged by the production of fraudulent work.
