I’m a USC alumnus who is working at Disney World this year doing the Cultural Exchange Program. I'd love to share my experiences with you...
Meet Mia: from the Sunshine Coast to the Sunshine State
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) graduate, Mia Comino was recently interviewed by Disney’s international team and they asked if Mia's story and experiences during the program could be shared as they’d like for more USC students to apply!
"What started out as a trip to celebrate my high school graduation ended up becoming the inspiration that began my Disney journey! While staying at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, I met a participant from Brisbane who was in the Disney Australia/New Zealand Cultural Exchange Program."
"After learning more about the program on different social media sites and knowing some friends who were alumni of the program, I decided to apply for an opportunity..."
"I am now a merchandise hostess at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom Park - Disney World!"
Having only worked there for two months, Mia has made an impression on guests and fellow cast members already. She received several forms of recognition including two by some guests who truly felt appreciated by Mia’s hard work, passion, and her memorable personality!
