Student group "With Respect USC", with the support of USC Safer Communities, the USC Engagement Office and the USC Student Guild will run its inaugural Symposium in recognition of domestic and family violence prevention month.

2018 Symposium - event details 

Date: 30 May 2018
Time: 9am to 1pm.
Venue: Innovation Centre, USC Sunshine Coast (Sippy Downs)
Cost: FREE (morning tea provided)

About the event

The Symposium will focus on themes of community safety within the context of respectful relationships. This event will host a range of speakers from:

  • the University of the Sunshine Coast
  • Laurel Place
  • the Daniel Morcombe Foundation and
  • White Ribbon Sunshine Coast.

The event is open to the public. With Respect USC strongly encourages any community organisation representatives or community members to attend this event.

The primary aim of this symposium is to provide collaboration and networking opportunities for community organisations and the University within the context of providing a safer Sunshine Coast region.
