Temporary ban on the use of reusable cups at USC food and beverage outlets

17 Mar 2020

In light of COVID-19, USC food and beverage outlets will not be using or accepting keepcups or borrow cups during the foreseeable future.

This is in an effort to reduce the exposure to the virus for all cafe and Brasserie staff.

At the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Bay campuses, the cups used for hot beverages will remain the standard USC stock, which is compostable, so please make sure to dispose of the cup and lid in the green bins.

For those studying at campuses which share space with TAFE Queensland, please keep this advisory and the health of cafe staff in mind, even if the ban does not go into effect at those cafes.

Check campus food outlets current operating hours.
