Celebrate Harmony Week: 15–19 March

10 Mar 2021

Harmony Week recognises diversity and inclusion and is a time to celebrate Australian multiculturalism.

Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week. Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Australians can choose to wear something orange during Harmony Week to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.

Here at USC, Harmony Week is about inclusiveness, respect, and belonging for all individuals, celebrating the diversity of our cultural or linguistic background, where we are all united by a set of core Australian values.

Join us and celebrate Harmony Week from Monday 15 to Friday 19 March.
