Terms and conditions - End of Semester@USC Toolkit Prize Draw

University of the Sunshine Coast enrolled undergraduate and TPP students who fully complete and submit an End of Semester@USC Toolkit Semester 1, 2020 online between 25 May and 2 July 2020 will be entered in a random draw for a $100 Visa gift card. Prize winners may convert their gift card to a donation towards the USC Student Guild Food Pantry and, in so doing, assist others studying for a degree from USC.

  1. By completing the questions in this Toolkit you are deemed to have accepted all terms and conditions. Instructions on how to enter and details advertising the survey form part of the conditions.
  2. The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) is the promoter.
  3. Entry is free (other than the cost of completing the toolkit which is the entrant’s responsibility).
  4. Entry is open to enrolled USC undergraduate and Tertiary Preparation Pathway students who completed their first semester at USC in Semester 1 2020 and have been invited to participate in the End of Semester@USC Toolkit.
  5. To enter the prize draw you must complete and submit the Toolkit online by the closing date.
  6. Entries containing incorrect contact details, incomplete fields or offensive material will be deemed invalid.
  7. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  8. The winners will be selected by a random process.
  9. Prize details are a $100 Visa gift card; alternatively the dollar value of the prize can be donated towards the USC Student Guild Food Pantry.
  10. Any change in value of the prizes between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter.
  11. If any prize winner cannot be contacted within two weeks of first notification or does not confirm the address to which a prize should be forwarded by the date requested, a redraw will be held for that prize. Only one redraw will take place. The redraw prize winners will be randomly selected and notified within two weeks of the redraw.
  12. The competition commences at 9am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 25 May 2020.
  13. The competition will close at 11pm AEST on 2 July 2020.
  14. The prize will be drawn on 8 July 2020 at USC Sunshine Coast campus, Sippy Downs, QLD 4556. A redraw for unclaimed prizes will take place on 22 July at USC Sunshine Coast campus, Sippy Downs, QLD 4556.
  15. The winner/s will be chosen at random from all eligible entries received. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  16. The prize winner/s will be contacted by phone or email within 2 days of the draw. Prizes will be collected from the University or distributed by mail to the address advised by prize winners. Once posted, USC will deem the prize as delivered to the prize winner and no compensation will be forthcoming if the prize is not received.
  17. Competition results will not be published. Enquiries in relation to competition results may be sent to studentsuccess@usc.edu.au
  18. All entries become the property of the promoter. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries.
  19. If due to circumstances beyond the control of USC, the integrity or administration of the promotion is adversely affected, USC may suspend the promotion. USC may disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  20. Where personal details of entrants are provided as part of the competition, USC will comply with its Information Management Framework - Governing Policy.
