Dennis is responsible for ensuring that the University’s interests are represented in the integrated planning, development and management of energy and services infrastructure and to ensure they are developed in accordance with the Strategic Plan.
Dennis provides leadership in sustainability in relation to reducing carbon emissions and minimising resource use through the Carbon Management Plan. He also leads complex multifaceted energy and services infrastructure projects from conception to final delivery and operation to improve resource efficiencies and reduce operational expenditure.
Dennis also provides energy consumption and expenditure targets and manage utilities and related contracts of the University for all campuses resource use. He manages and oversees the University’s procurement of energy in the contestable energy market to minimise operational expenditure
