Daniel is an ex-Chef who completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Chemistry minor) with a University Medal in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours – First Class) with a Chancellor’s Medal in 2013 at USC.
Daniel is currently conducting a PhD research project at USC in the field of Analytical Chemistry. His project is profiling the chemical compounds found in high-quality honey, in particular, Leptospermum-derived honey like Manuka; and investigating their anti-inflammatory properties.
In addition to studying, Daniel is a Student Academic Adviser, at USC, with a particular interest in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematic (STEM) subjects.
