Trina Hamilton is an Associate Professor of Geography at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB).

She is a human geographer interested in how regulation, activism, and market mechanisms such as ethical consumerism jointly drive corporate change and sustainable development.

Her current research focuses on resistance to environmental gentrification, as well as the ethical diamond trade. I would like to see a shiFt toward a future where research excellence and caring practices are recognised and incentivised together.
